Fresh out of college, we dreamed of the enormous success that all recent graduates dream of, having no idea how long and bumpy the road ahead might be. However, two things were clear: we would achieve business victory, if and only if, we did so while working for the dignity and aggrandizement of our people.
Although at the beginning our motivations were, in the case of Roberto, to escape from a frustrating and unsuccessful destiny in the choice of career and, for Christian, the dream of reaching very high at the business summit, from the beginning there was an ingredient that would mark the development of our history in all aspects: we had had the opportunity to raise awareness with great empathy with the feelings of the people employed in the organizations. Having understood that the life of any human being is as important and profound as our own, we committed to ourselves not to be carried away by ambition and that the development we would achieve would be balanced.
Very excited, full of uncertainty and some fear, we migrated from Torreón Coahuila to the city of Guadalajara. We had a few recipes, a master chef, and total ignorance about how to start a restaurant.
We managed to get the opportunity in a large shopping center that was just starting out, but that had all the characteristics we were looking for. We started without a mission or vision, we did not consider it necessary, our focus was always do it the best you can... cook the best, fry like the best, serve like the best, be the best boss, the best colleague, etc. Even under that motto, we could not help but compare ourselves with our neighbors in Plaza Galerías, always observing who was selling and who was not, trying to learn from the good practices of others, until we realized that, if you are going to learn from someone, you must learn from the best. This is how we decided, after two years and having stumbled upon a branch that failed on Guadalupe Avenue, with a somewhat dark outlook for our only living branch, that we would travel to the United States to work in a renowned international chain of food restaurants. quick oriental and learn about the original business from which our concept emerged. In the end, we didn't make it there, but we did gain a new perspective to decide where to go. The big difference was that this time we were focused on ourselves, without turning to look at others, totally focused on how to improve every detail of our own project and thus, almost as if by magic, our rise in sales and the number of our clients.
The QIN dream begins: “We managed to get the opportunity in a large shopping center that had just started, which had all the characteristics we were looking for.” June 2004 the first QIN Oriental Food opens in Plaza Galerías in Zapopan, Jalisco. Months later we decided to open a branch on Av. Guadalupe which represented great learning for a possible new business model.
With great sadness and a feeling of failure, we closed the doors of this second branch on Guadalupe Avenue which left us with great learning.
The delicious variety of Seasonal Dishes are created, offering our customers an extraordinary new flavor month after month, in addition to our fixed dishes. The value attributes that mark the QIN Guarantee and Experience are defined: Quality, flavor and service.
After 5 years of learning about the business and strengthening it, the second branch was opened in Gran Plaza Fashion Mall, and with this our commissariat or supply center was born in small facilities on Primo Feliciano Velázquez Street 3387 in Jardines de los Arcos in Zapopan.

QIN Galerías is remodeled with a more consolidated image as a brand.
After several years of learning and with complete conviction we returned to Chapalita, where the first QIN Restaurant model was born on the emblematic Guadalupe Avenue.
With the great opportunity to get closer to our clients, we opened our branch number 5 in the well-known and legendary Plaza Patria.
At the beginning of the year we opened the 2nd Restaurant model in Plaza D'Lucca, creating spaces with play areas for our youngest customers and their families, with the aim of creating a better QIN experience. Qin Gran Plaza is remodeled after 10 years, aligning itself with the image of the rest of the branches.
We celebrate 15 years of being recognized by our QIN Lovers as one of the most beloved Guadalajara brands in the restaurant sector, positioning us within the top 15 fast food brands of the ZMG. Listening to the voice of our customers, we decided to reach the east of the city and opened our seventh branch in the Gran Terraza Oblatos shopping center. Plaza Patria is renewed with its Gastronomic Park and we along with them, relocating our premises.
Even with the challenge of the pandemic, we arrived to the South, locating ourselves on Lifestyle Boulevard Punto Sur, with a new image and concept in its architectural and interior design.
Growing was inevitable and necessary for us, the production plant and warehouse was created that supplies all branches, operating on an area of 1600 m2 with more than 100 collaborators. Historically, it is the first year that 3 branches have been opened, located in: Chapultepec, Midtown Shopping Center and Fórum Tlaquepaque.
On April 1, the Qin branch in La Perla District begins operations. With the aim of having inclusive dish options for new markets, we created Veggie Orange, the vegetarian version of our signature dish. That same month, our first branch, Galleries, was re-opened, relocating and renovating the premises.
